March 2015

March...we did taxes of course. Daylight savings time finally arrived! And we just keep on keepin' on....entertaining ourselves even while in the bathroom....
We did get a couple of good snow-storms. I love what a winter-wonderland our backyard becomes when it snows!

The kids were a little disappointed that we never lost power and HAD to sleep in the living room to stay warm this year, so Sam decided to have a campout for them anyway...complete with roasted marshmallows in the stove...

So happy to be sleeping in a tent IN the house:)
When Sam gets involved in dinner preparations, he doesn't take his job lightly...he follows my thought that food should be colorful and beautiful (if at all possible).
I got to go by myself! to our Stake Relief Society conference for most of a Saturday...and this is what I came home to....and good thing they got them built b/c it warmed up quickly after this snow....and melted fast!

And Sam thought it was super funny that they added another baby to our family....haha...I'm not laughing...not ready for that yet!
And just a few days later the snow as gone and Sam had gotten a free trampoline...and then another free trampoline with a net. We kept the one with the net, and gave the other one to some other happy people...

And we made a special visit to see LucyMae and Samantha's old primary teacher, Terrie Bittner. She moved out of our ward about a year ago. And just recently discovered a brain tumor that left her with only a couple months to live. She was the most amazing primary teacher! We loved and appreciated her so much! It was so good to get to visit her. The girls played their violins for her ("I Am A Child of God") and we chatted for a while. She passed away just a few weeks after our visit. So glad we took the time to do it. What a wonderful woman who left a wonderful legacy and example for this world!
