Spring is HERE!!! FINALLY!!!

OK...I know it's been a while...and we have had a lot going on...but my goal here is to keep it short and succinct with lots of pictures....so enjoy!

Dinner with ward friends....LucyMae showing her love of dogs!

Enjoying some warm weather...picking the dandelions

Getting comfortable enough with walking to do it on the grass!

Pretty girls....

Our trip to Utah was GREAT!!! LucyMae LOVES Hannah!

Fun at the park with gramma Clair and aunt Hannah!

Then we left LucyMae to Sam's family for a couple days, and mine for a couple days while Sam and I took a wonderful and relaxing trip to San Diego. It was cheaper to drive to Utah and leave LucyMae with family than it was to pay a babysitter here in Rapid City and fly from here...made for a fun trip! We forgot to take the camera to San Diego with us though...so oh well. We had fun at Sea World, the beach, Old Town San Diego, and Coronado Island. It was PERFECT! When we got back we spent a few more days in Utah.

set....hike! Fun BBQ at my mom's house.

I can't get over how cute she is!

Cousins hanging out!

Future basketball player?

Another reason for the drive to Utah. My sister Serenity gave an AWESOME junior violin recital at the U of U! She is amazing! If only I had had the dedication she has!

The Lucys - Fun at the zoo with family and friends (Andrea and Laura and their kids)

The whole gang in front of the zebras!

Keeping her entertained at a YW cake auction fundraiser...lots of generous people in our ward.

Hiking in the Black Hills with the Howards from our ward...we forgot to take any pictures WITH them though...It was rainy and cold....but stilll GORGEOUS!

The famous NEEDLES

LucyMae's 1st birthday was a very fun day. It fell on Memorial Day this year, so Sam was home all day, which made it really fun. She opened her presents in the morning (so thrilled with a ball, a doll, and a backyard swimming pool).

Then we went to Reptile Gardens to see the 127-year-old tortoise! LucyMae LOVED it!

And she even got to take a little ride.

The alligators were pretty cool too!

She actually LIKED playing with the snake....ewww!

We made a "NERD" cake for her birthday cake, and had some friends from our ward over for a BBQ that night....again forgot to take pictures WITH them.

She LOVED all the sugar!

Can you tell?

Way fun camping trip in the Black Hills. I am determined to thoroughly enjoy this summer here in the Black Hills with camping every weekend we possibly can.

LucyMae did pretty well....although she was a little obsessed with the fire.

We also went to the airshow at the AFB here....really fun , also with some friends, and again took NO pictures WITH them...

that plane is HUGE!!! It's a bomber.

The Thunderbirds - so so worth it!

They flew right past each other going hundreds of miles per hour, right in front of us

The one on top is upside down if you can't tell...

Here are a few little videos and a slideshow for fun too....

And last but not least....WE'RE PREGNANT AGAIN!!! Baby is due Dec. 11th.

This is one of LucyMae's first successful walking experiences

Being silly crawling through the chairs

picking dandelions and walking on the grass

opening birthday presents

Isn't this a cool tortoise?

the Thunderbirds were AWESOME and so loud!

I LOVE LOVE the pictures with the tortoise and the snake. Although I would never have touched the snake--yay for toddlers without issues! And congrats to LucyMae for officially reaching toddlerhood! Can't wait to see you next month!!!!
