There must not have been too much excitement in March, b/c I did not get very many pictures. Or maybe there was too much chaos to take pictures....either way, my record-keeping ability is significantly less due to the lack of pictures. A lot of our business this month was with orchestra concerts for me and Sam, swimming lessons (which are going really well for all the kids now), teaching violin lessons, group lessons for kiddos, Sam traveling for work a bit, etc., etc.. But somehow we fit in a zoo trip on a semi-warm day....
Look closely and you'll see a very new and small baby monkey...super cute:)
I snapped this picture of the mountain lion to help me remember what happened. There's a stone/rock wall next to this glass. The mountain lion was on top of the wall looking at us through the fence. He was kind of eyeing LucyMae who was kind of darting around just being silly. I told her the lion was watching her and that she should run over past the glass and see what he did. He totally tried to chase her, jumped off the wall right by the glass and kind of leapt at her into the glass....crazy! It startled her a little bit, but she thought it was pretty cool.
Isn't this one handsome little boy? Why oh why must they grow so fast?
And a visit to the Please Touch Museum on a cold day is always fun....
....until it ends with an epic tantrum by the 4-year-old over a train-track. This little spit-fire has a LOT of stubborn and scream in her! The entire museum can attest to that fact. I eventually got her calmed down enough that we could leave....but we did keep our distance from there for a while:)
And so it goes....another month is over and gone....time marches on....
